Out of the total 508-kilometer stretch between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, a viaduct has been constructed over 272 kilometers. The route encounters eight rivers, with bridges completed over five of them. The completion deadline for the 50-kilometer section between Surat and Billimora is set for 2026, and the work is reportedly proceeding according to the established schedule.
