Attukal Pongal Festival 2024 Special Train: In response to the heightened demand for travel during the Attukal Pongal festive season, it has been resolved to schedule two additional trips of special trains between Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) Bengaluru and Kochuveli stations. This decision aims to effectively manage the increased influx of passengers seeking transportation during the Attukal Pongal festivities, ensuring that travelers can reach their destinations conveniently and comfortably during this vibrant celebration.
Attukal Pongal Festival 2024 Special Train
Train No 06501 SMVT Bengaluru – Kochuveli Express Timing
Train No. 06501 SMVT Bengaluru-Kochuveli Express Special will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 23:55 hrs on February 22 & 24, 2024 and reach its destination, Kochuveli at 19:10 hrs on the next day.
Attukal Pongala Special Train To Kochuveli Halts
Enroute, the train will have stoppages at Whitefield, Bangarapet, Kuppam, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Ottappalam, Trissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam, and Kollam stations.
Attukal Pongala Special Train To Kochuveli Coach Composition
The special trains will comprise a total of 18 coaches, including: AC two-tier coach (1), AC three-tier coaches (13), General second-class coaches (2), and SLR (2).

Train No. 06502 Kochuveli-SMVT Bengaluru Express Special will depart from Kochuveli at 22:00 hrs on February 23 & 25, 2024 and arrive SMVT Bengaluru at 16:30 hrs on the next day.
